IHA has participated in the evaluation and redesign of various health intervention programs and projects in Kenya and the region. Key examples include USAID Kenya APHIA II service delivery project, USAID Kenya MSH –SPS commodity and supply chain management project (IHA Lead consultant was the team leader in this evaluation and redesign) and USAID Kenya National Health Service Delivery Mechanism (through IT Shows Inc). IHA has also been involved in the mid-term review of Pharmaccess Foundation programs in three African countries (through ECORYS BV Holland).
Private Health Sector Organization, Mobilization and Capacity Building IHA lead consultant is a founder member of the Kenya Healthcare Federation (KEPSA Health Sector Board) and has been deeply involved in efforts to bring together the private health sector in Kenya for the last decade. He has been a key champion of genuine private sector involvement in the wider national health policy dialogue. He worked to unite various private sector associations and facilitated them to have a united voice on key health issues. IHA has thus been a key advocate for genuine private sector involvement and engagement in the health sector. IHA’s experience in working with private health sector associations extends to Malawi, Tanzania and Ethiopia.
